Development Team

Development Team

Care UK’s reputation for innovation is partly founded on the development of new models of care, which increasingly span the interface between health and social care. This understanding of the health and social care spectrum places Care UK in a unique position in today’s market. Driving forward the development of care the Development Team is organised around four business units:

Residential Care Services – operating care homes and independent hospitals for older people. Focussing on a specialist range of services, principally for older people, with particular emphasis on rehabilitation and complex needs as well as to provide residential care for higher acuity needs, including frail nursing, dementia care working in conjunction with our community care division. Activity Based Care a genuinely original style of residential care has been developed by this division.

Community Care Services – focussed on supporting people in their own homes caring for older people and others with specialist needs. Care UK has been a key player in the development of person centred, outcome based care at national level.

Health Care Services – providing a range of diagnostic, acute and primary care services which includes our joint venture with Partnership Health Group Ltd.

Specialist Care Services – providing a range of specialist services which are linked by psychiatric, therapeutic or social and behavioural needs within the areas of Learning Disabilities, Mental Health and Children’s Care including Foster Care.
