Abney Court in Cheadle is set within the beautiful grounds of Abney Hall Park and offers residential, dementia and short-term care in comfortable surroundings.

The home is designed to provide the very best standards of care, with its own luxury facilities including a cinema, café and hair salon, as well as stunning walled gardens. We also have our own minibus so we can enjoy regular days out to nearby attractions or further afield.

When you join us, we will work with you and your family to learn everything we can about your life history, needs, likes and dislikes. Then we’ll design care and activity plans tailored to your unique needs and preferences. We’re known for our talented chefs, and they’ll work with you to create bespoke menus.

Moving into a care home is a big change for anyone. From day one my mum was made to feel very welcome and team has been excellent ever since. They have taken time to get to know my mum. She is always treated with dignity and care.

My mum has been a resident at Abney for a couple of years and overall I'm very pleased with her care there. The home environment is very pleasant and some recent decorative improvements have made it even better for the residents. The staff are good and try to make it a caring and warm place for all the residents to live with dignity. There's a wide range of daily activities and mum really enjoys taking part in these. Food and drink are of a high standard and there's a nice dining area for people to spend time in. Overall I'd definitely recommend as somewhere you can feel confident your loved ones will be cared for when they can no longer live independently.

Mum has happily settled into her new home thanks to the kindness, patience and support of all the staff at Abney Court. Mum enjoys the activities, particularly the exercise classes. The lifestyle team make sure mum knows what is happening and can get involved. Lisa from the team will take mum for a walk when the weather is fine - she enjoys that. I visit regularly and always feel welcome.
