Cheviot Court , send us a message

At Cheviot Court we offer high quality care and a warm welcome in a homely setting.

Cheviot Court care home in South Shields offers quality permanent and short-term (respite) residential care for older people. Our skilled team can also care for residents who are living with dementia.

Care that’s tailored to your loved one

We're passionate about enabling your loved one to live a fulfilling life, doing the things they enjoy or trying something new. We spend time getting to know your loved one as an individual, understanding how they like to spend their time, the foods they enjoy and their aims for the future. We believe that moving into a care home is just another part of life.

We provide a wide range of fun and interesting activities for residents and are always willing to organise new things for people to try. We're lucky to be close to the North Sea coast, and in the warmer months we'll take trips to the seafront.

Space to relax

Closer to home, residents and visitors enjoy relaxing in our large, landscaped garden, and keen gardeners are always welcome to help keep everything looking lovely. Some of our ground floor bedrooms open directly onto our gardens, and many upstairs have pleasant views of the Cleadon Hills. All bedrooms have en-suite facilities, modern furniture, a television connection and a 24-hour nurse call system.

Cheviot Court has a range of shared spaces for your loved one to relax in, including different lounges, and a TV and music area.
