Welcome to Church View

Our care home in the village of Murton, near Seaham in County Durham, offers personalised residential, and respite care for up to 42 older people, including those with dementia. We also offer supportive and sensitive end of life care.

Residents are at the heart of everything we do, and we treat each person as an individual. When your loved one joins us, we will find out everything we can about their life so that we can personalise every aspect of their time with us to their precise needs, interests and wishes.

Each of the bedrooms at Church View is airy, bright and comfortable and has en-suite facilities, stylish furniture, a 24-hour nurse call system and telephone and TV sockets. We encourage every resident to personalise their room with small pieces of their own furniture and other treasured possessions to make them feel more at home.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

We think of different ways to support your loved one to stay engaged and independent. Some residents feel a sense of purpose from helping us with our 'daily to do list' which involves setting tables for lunch or dinner, folding laundry, wiping down tables or tidying the lounge. Your loved one is free to do as much or as little as they wish.
