Bury St Edmunds residents invited to find out more about planning care for the future

Home news

Davers Court is inviting the local community to a free event designed to provide support for people considering future care for themselves or a loved one.

On Wednesday 28th March from 10am-12 noon, the team at Davers Court will open the doors to the care home for its free ‘Planning Care for the Future’ event.

Steven Hendrie, a wealth management specialist, will be on hand to give local people professional advice and guidance about funding long-term care for their loved one – whether it’s in their own home or in a care home. Ed Jacobs, from Gross & Co., will also be at the event discussing topics such as Power of Attorney.

After the event there will be a Q&A session, and those who attend will also have the opportunity to meet the team at Davers Court and take a tour of the care home.

Wendy Harvey, home manager, at Davers Court said: “With an ageing population, it is more important than ever to prepare for future care, so we hope all those considering the future care of a loved one will take the opportunity to benefit from the expertise provided in this free session.

“We are delighted to have Steve and Ed joining us for the event. As trusted professionals with a wealth of experience in care planning, we are sure they will both help to transform the experiences of many who are thinking about putting plans in place for the future.”
