Second birthday celebrations for the Potteries care home

Home news

The Potteries care home in Poole, Dorset celebrated their two year anniversary on 14th October 2015.

The care team held a party for residents, relatives and the local community.

Live entertainment was provided by Lucia from Poole who had everyone up on the dance floor with some classic songs. There was a great atmosphere of celebration throughout the home and everyone agreed it was a huge success.

Home manager Zita Turner said “We really felt the need to raise a glass to two great years of providing first class care at the Potteries. From the care team to the domestics, from the kitchen, maintenance and activities teams; supporting our residents is a group effort. This past year has been a huge success for the home after the appointments of Home Manager, Zita Turner and Clinical Lead, Lacey Travers. With several more events planned for the rest of the year including our Halloween and Christmas activity programmes; it’s full steam ahead for the Potteries!”
