Summer fun comes to Lauder Lodge

Lauder Lodge is inviting the local community to its family fun day on Friday 10th August.  

From 1pm - 4pm, local people are invited to drop into Lauder Lodge to join in with an afternoon of fun activities, delicious food and live entertainment. 

Residents and visitors can try their luck at various games, including ‘pitch and putt’ and ‘beat the goalie’, and for younger guests, there will be a special performance and magic show from Gladys Chucklebutty. Local emergency services teams will also join the party, including the local police. 

To top off the day, guests will be treated to a barbecue specially prepared by Lauder Lodge’s chefs. 

Michelle Reid, home manager at Lauder Lodge, said: “Hosting a family fun day provides us with a wonderful opportunity to invite local people to join us for a day of celebrations and entertainment. 

“Here at Lauder Lodge, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of Edinburgh and we look forward to welcoming the community to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
