Every home-cooked meal prepared in our homes is freshly prepared each day and all the fruit and vegetables we serve are grown by, or sourced from, a local business.
Plenty of choice
Each day starts with a good breakfast, including a cooked option, served at a time that suits each resident. During the day there’s a main meal and a lighter meal – with the main meal often served in the evening. This three-course meal includes at least two hot main course choices plus plenty of vegetables and a hot pudding. Residents can also help themselves to snacks and drinks from well stocked kitchenettes or food stations around the home 24 hours a day.
Fresh ideas and classic dishes
Our chefs change menus seasonally and at least every three weeks, yet there are always classics on the menu, such as fish and chips and roast dinners.
Making food fun
Our chefs love to prepare sweet treats for morning coffee or afternoon tea. From birthdays and anniversaries to events such as Chinese New Year, there’s always an excuse to produce fun or festive foods for residents to enjoy.
Residents also get to roll up their sleeves and get involved. Baking is a popular activity in many of our homes.
Drinking plenty of fluids
Hot and cold drinks are always available and fresh water in residents’ rooms is refreshed regularly. Most of our homes use the latest self-serve Bolero drinks systems, giving residents instant access to low-calorie, sugar-free fruit drinks.
