Care tailored to your loved one

At Pear Tree Court, absolutely every aspect of your loved ones care will be personalised to their exact needs and preferences. Our ethos is based on person-centred care - that means we put residents right at the heart of everything we do. When your loved one joins us, we will take time to get to know them so that we can develop a care and activity plan that is entirely tailored to their unique needs and interests. Our chef-led catering team will also ensure that individual preferences are factored into their menu plans.

Making the most of every day

Like all Care UK home teams, our people are committed to helping residents to get the most out of every day. Our dedicated lifestyle team support residents to stay active and independent and help them to contribute to the life of the care home in whatever way suits them.

When you visit us you may find residents folding laundry or laying the table for lunch. Others might be helping the admin team with filing or be out in the garden keeping it looking lovely. We believe that living in a care home is no barrier to doing the everyday tasks that provide a sense of purpose.

Every day is different

Our lifestyle team plan a range of varied group activities that reflect residents' interests. Expect everything from quizzes and games to arts and crafts, music and dancing, as well as visits from voluntary groups, performers, schoolchildren and animal charities.

Residents at Pear Tree Court have the chance to catch a favourite film in our cinema, relax and be pampered in our hair salon or simply catch up over a cup of coffee in the homes very own coffee shop. If your loved one likes the reassurance of long-established routines, they are more than welcome to help out in the garden, fold laundry or chat with the catering team as they peel vegetables together for lunch.
