At the Prince George Club day care centre in Ipswich older people living locally can enjoy a refreshing change of scene and make friends with likeminded people.

Since it opened in March 2015, the Prince George Club has been going from strength to strength, providing older people with a lively day centre in Ipswich where they can meet new people and do activities they enjoy in a safe setting, all while their carers have some time to themselves.

The Ipswich day care centre is perfect for older people with a range of abilities. Many members are living with dementia, but get the most out of every day thanks to the skilled and experienced club team. Members can come along for anything for a few hours through to a full week. Whenever they join us, they see familiar faces, enjoy delicious and nutritious meals and fun times in great company.

Superb new facilities

The Prince George Club is a purpose-built, brand new building in the grounds of Prince George House on Mansbrook Boulevard in Ipswich. As well as an assisted bathroom, the stunning new day centre has a fully equipped kitchen and a laundry room, so our team can help members with their personal care if this is proving an increasingly challenging task at home. We can help them to make snacks or do baking (meals are provided) or to do their laundry – we’re helping them to retain the fundamental independent living skills that they need to stay living in their own homes for longer.

Members are also welcome to use the incredible facilities in Prince George House, the stunning new care home next door.  The home has its own hair salon, coffee shop and cinema, and the residents are always pleased to see day club members.
