About GP practices

Many GP practices in the UK are run by Care UK on behalf of the NHS. Our GP Practices are run by qualified doctors and nurses and provide all the services you’d expect from your local GP practice and more. When you visit your local Care UK GP Practice, the kind of experience you have is very important to us. We want to exceed your expectations on every level. We do this by listening carefully to what you say and seeing things from your point of view. This helps us to continually improve what we do and how we do it.

How we can help

Our doctors can help with your general health concerns. We also run a number of clinics specialising in particular areas of health, such as children and immunisation, pregnancy, diabetes and asthma even minor surgery. These clinics ensure you get the right help and advice from doctors or nurses experienced in your particular area.

Nursing services

Sometimes you might not want to see a doctor. For example if you need health screening, immunisations jabs, travel vaccinations, smear testing or help and support managing a known disease. Our nurse-led clinics can help with all of these things and answer any questions you may have.

Wellbeing and lifestyle

Maintaining overall wellbeing can be an important concern for many people. We can help to identify any future health risks and show you how to maintain a healthier lifestyle and so minimise the potential for illness later on.

Disabled access

Our GP surgeries are accessible by and have toilet facilities for people using a wheelchair. We also provide reserved parking for people displaying a disabled sticker.
