About our children's services
Care UK's Children's Services provides support for children and young people who need extra help with their lives. This could be help through a crisis, a place to stay temporarily through fostering, help with education or just a safe, nurturing environment. We work closely with the young people in our care and with our professional partners to ensure that service users get the best start in life and the best preparation for adulthood.

Care in a crisis
We provide care for children in critical situations. Our facilities neither look nor feel like a childen's home. Click here for more.
Urban residential placements
We offer small semi-urban environments for children who are have challenging behaviour. We provide a safe and nurturing environment where we encourage young people to take an active part in the local community. Click here for more.
Rural residential placements
Our rural residential child care placements are for children aged between 10 and 16. We provide care, education and psychotherapy and can also provide medium to long-term placements for young people who need higher than normal levels of supervision. Click here for more.
Semi independence
For young people who are not yet emotionally or practically equipped to cope on their own, we offer them accommodation, their own bedroom and 24-hour staffing from a dedicated and highly trained staff team. Click here for more.
Education
Education should be an important part of every child's life, but it can't be addressed in isolation. We look at all areas of a young person's needs and develop an education plan that's right for them. Our plans combine adventurous activities with aspects of the National Curriculum and follow-up work in a classroom. Click here for more.
