Specialist home care for people with acquired brain injury
we provide care in the home to support a number of people who have a brain injury, including those who have just returned home following residential rehabilitation care. This enables them to continue to live within their own home.
These services provide day-to-day support and regular respite breaks for carers. All services are tailored to meet the specific needs of the individual, which are likely to vary considerably according to the severity of the injury sustained.
The majority of people we currently support, have a traumatic brain injury resulting from an accident which might have lead to speech impairment, loss of limb movement, memory loss, personality changes and behavioural problems. Our specialist home care staff are fully trained and adept at working with these symptoms.
