Care UK is to be a sponsor of The Alzheimer’s Show taking place on 15th and 16th June 2012, at ExCeL London.
The Alzheimer’s Show is the UK’s first national exhibition and conference dedicated to the community of over 2 million people who live and work with Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias on a daily basis.
The show will be opened by Minister of State for Care Services, Paul Burstow MP who said:
"Dementia presents a massive challenge for society and is a priority area for Government, so I’m delighted to support this exhibition. The Alzheimer’s Show will be a real boost to people with dementia and their carers, providing the latest information on services, technology and dementia research. The show will also provide an important platform to meet, to talk about their experiences of living with dementia and to learn from one another".
The Care UK Team will be on hand to offer advice on the many different care options for people living with dementia - from care at home and day care to residential and nursing care. We will also be running a Jubilee Street Party themed workshop session about the importance of staying active for people with dementia.
