GPs 

Care UK has close working relationships with GPs around the UK. They refer patients to all areas of our business, including our NHS Treatment Centres, CATS and Walk in Centres as well as advising service users about our social care services.

GPs also value our knowledge and experience on issues like private sector partnering. Care UK is one of the most experienced partners in the country and we're collaborating with a number of GP practices to help deliver a new kind of primary care while preserving the principles and values of the NHS.

We also run a number of GP practices on behalf of the NHS. The practices employ a range of healthcare professionals including GPs and nurses and are dedicated to providing high quality services to their local communities. A number of our GP practices are co-located with NHS Walk in Centres meaning we are able to offer comprehensive, convenient healthcare services from community based locations.

When referring to our NHS Treatment Centres, GPs can be assured that we have amongst the highest performing units in terms of patient satisfaction, value for money and delivering full contract value. We also achieve excellent, independently audited, clinical outcomes. Our centres, which only treat NHS patients, are accessible through NHS Choices and we are committed to providing GPs and their patients with a high quality alternative to traditional services.
