Our People
At Care UK we recognise that our people are by far and away our most valuable asset and that our expectations of delivering a high standard of service can only be met by carefully selected, motivated and able individuals.
To reflect and support this we have developed a number of initiatives to ensure that all our people settle in as soon as possible, gain an understanding of our business, our culture and the way we work, and are equipped in a planned and timetabled way with the tools to function as well as possible, as soon as possible.
All of our staff, including our carers and support workers, are rigorously selected against predefined selection criteria, face-to-face, and are provided with full training and ongoing professional development to ensure both the safety of our service users and the continued improvement of our services.
Care UK is committed to developing, supporting and sustaining a diverse workforce and creating an environment where everyone is able to do their job to the best of their ability. Care UK is also committed to providing home care in a manner that recognises, respects and responds to the diversity of the local communities to whom we provide services.
