Transport and access to appointments
We believe that everyone should have equal access to the services that they require. Care UK can arrange access to your daily appointments, whether it be accompanying you to your doctor’s surgery or making a trip to the hairdresser.
Social support and recreation

Visiting family and friends
It can be hard to keep in touch and it can be even harder to get out to see your family and friends. Care UK could support you to visit someone you care about, from a neighbour to a family member living in Spain!

Domestic chores, light household cleaning and laundry
Care UK can help with any domestic tasks associated with ordinary living. When mundane household tasks can appear too much, Care UK can provide you with the experienced support needed to take the worry away.
Benefit collection
If you do not have access to outside services such as the Post Office, Care UK’s vetted and trained carers can be entrusted with collecting benefits on your behalf.
Financial management
Bills and payments can be a burden to anyone. You can entrust the management of your personal finances to our carefully recruited care workers and take the stress away. Our care staff are trained to help our service users to budget their finances, pay their bills, open bank accounts and manage their savings. Shopping with or without support
Your Care UK carer can organise your shopping for you or, if you choose, can take you to the local supermarket or high street. Care UK can also support you with shopping over the internet from the comfort of your own home, even if you do not have an internet connection.
Supporting you with your pets
A pet can be a great companion but can be difficult to look after at times. Care UK can help by taking Rover on regular walks to the park, or perhaps by taking Whiskers for her inoculations at the vets.
General home help
Care UK can support you with just about anything. In the garden we have organised everything from cutting the grass to having an entire garden landscaped, through to supporting people to grow tomatoes and flowers on their patios. Care UK can help you with basic DIY – from changing a blown fuse through to putting up some shelving. And, of course, we have access to some experienced painters and decorators.
