Home is where the heart is....
and we believe 'your home' is where you belong
We are proud of our experience and expertise in developing first class homecare and remain committed to supporting people to live independently in their own homes for as long as they choose to do so. We offer a wide range of support solutions and will tailor a package to specifically meet the needs of each individual customer we work with.
Making you feel comfortable and being transparent are very important to us. If you would like to find out more about Homecare Select you can arrange a confidential, 'no-obligation' meeting with a member of your Care UK Customer Experience Team, simply by emailing us at homecareselect@careuk.com.
A person centred approach
What makes us different is our development of a culture that is 'person-centred' and embeds person centred thinking into all that we do. We don't believe in the outdated concepts of 'task orientated' care planning or of 'directing support' - for us it is all about planning care and support needs around the individual's chosen lifestyle, enabling them to lead a more fulfilling life.
The support we can provide
We know that friends can be for life, so for this reason we always try and make sure that your "Enabler" (our name for your care or support worker) will be a suitable match for your personality and needs.
We believe that it is important to spend a meaningful amount of time with each individual and never want our customers to feel rushed - for this reason we prefer to dedicate at least an hour to each care and support call we make at your home.
Enabling independence at home
Enabling independence at home is all about delivering support where it is needed most, with services selected at the discretion of each customer. We are here to provide as much or as little support as desired, whether this is an hour on an occasional basis or on a regular visit schedule leading up to 24 hour live-in support. We also provide support for carer rest breaks, or on accompanied holidays.
Our list of services is by no means exhaustive, so if you need support with anything that is not listed, please don't hesitate to ask.
