Mental health services
At Care UK we provide a range of community-based services for adults with mental health needs. We do this by working in close partnership with the NHS and local authorities.
We are continually striving to find better solutions to local issues. Issues can include long stay hospital re-provision, or bed blocking or out of area transfers. The solution may be as simple as providing additional capacity within one of our existing facilities on a spot contract basis or it may be the development of a new bespoke service. But in every case we take time to fully understand the issues to address and explore all community care alternatives before proposing a solution that's right for your community.
We also focus strongly on rehabilitation and empowerment. When an individual is placed in one of our services or hospitals we work with them to develop their skills and confidence and to return to independent living as quickly as possible.
We have an excellent track record of helping individuals to move on to less supported and therefore less expensive placements, and in many cases, resettlement into the community.
