Our flexible home support services provide individuals with enough support to enable them to remain living within their own home. Support is provided based on individual needs, desires and preferences, from a just a few hours a week to 24 hours a day. The service is totally flexible recognising that some people will need life long support, whilst others may only have short-term needs and that needs are likely to change over time.
The aim of the service is to enable service users to make their own decisions and choices, to lead an ‘ordinary lifestyle’ in the community and ultimately to have control over their lives. Service users can choose what kind of support they require from personal care, domestic tasks, basic economics, and shopping to accessing social and leisure activities or education and employment.
The support includes enabling service users to access their local communities through colleges, work placements and mainstream community facilities and services.
