The home will be transferring to Eleanor Nursing and Social Care Ltd on Wednesday 1st April 2026.

The team and I consider it a huge privilege to care for older people and are proud that their families trust us to care for them.

This is a lovely friendly and happy home, with a great family atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you here soon.

The team is very well trained and clearly experienced in working with dementia. It was a difficult transition for my loved one when we first moved him into the home, but it was no longer safe for him to live alone. The team were incredible… from day one they began building a personal relationship with him, getting to know him and helping him to feel settled. They know him well now and understand how to get the best out of him.

The team has been wonderful with my loved one. They get to know everyone personally and understand the capabilities of each resident. They are encouraging and friendly and they make time to share a laugh and a joke with everyone as they go about the practicalities of their work. They make the place feel like a home from home.

The menu is well balanced and well thought through. It's made fresh each day on site and there's a good variety... everyone seems to be happy whenever I'm there at mealtimes. My loved one loves his food, so he's a happy customer.

Carers look at all the events coming up and they try to include activities that are suitable for the residents as individuals, for their age, their interests, their nationalities, religious beliefs, etc. They have live music, holiday celebrations, crafts, exercise classes, games... they keep the residents involved in things rather than letting them just sit in their room... they help to keep their minds and their bodies active and engaged.

They are dementia specialists and they provide a lot of activities to keep the residents active and engaged... my loved one has been joining most of them. She is socialising with other residents and she seems to be very happy. She has a much better quality of life with them in the home than we could provide for her.
