We have three decades of experience in delivering exceptional care for people in later years.

We are one of the largest independent providers of care and support for older people in the UK. This means we have both the expertise and the resources to provide our teams with the skills and confidence to deliver the highest standards of care.

Commitment to excellence

All of our services – whether they be delivered at home or in our care homes – are regularly inspected by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), the independent regulator which monitors the standards of social care services in England. CQC inspections cover all aspects of care including: treating people with dignity, making sure food and drink meets their needs, providing a clean, safe environment and adequately managing the services. The latest reports on each of our services can be found on the CQC website. In Scotland, the Care Inspectorate (formerly the Social Care and Social Work Improvement Scotland) performs a similar role, while in Wales it's the Social Services and Care Inspectorate Wales.

However, we believe in going well and truly above and beyond the requirements of CQC and our services and people regularly receive awards and recognition for their contribution to providing some of the best social care in the UK.

An eye on the future

While we are proud of the service we currently provide, we are continually working to innovate and improve the service we provide our customers. For example, to improve our services in dementia care, we recently asked our teams to go away and come up with new ideas. We used their suggestions to shape our approach with specially designed homes, welcoming traditional décor, and specialist staff training which offers new insights into life from the point of view of someone living with dementia.

We’ve also invested in our quality and governance team, which is crucial to ensuring high quality care is delivered to care home residents and day club visitors.
