We believe that with forward-thinking treatment, care and support we can make a real difference to people living with long term mental health conditions.

Living with a mental health condition is a challenge both for the sufferer and their friends and family. We offer expert support for people living with a range of mental health conditions that have proved to be challenging, complex or long term.

We know that working towards rehabilitation or recovery is not easy. For many it can be a long journey. Our teams have the expertise, experience and empathy to stand alongside our clients at every stage of their journey, providing the right level of care to encourage them to live as independent and fulfilling a life as possible.

Our approach is person-centred. This means we involve both clients and, where practical, their families and support networks in the planning and delivery of their treatment, care and support. We get to know each of our clients and understand their hopes, ambitions and goals so that we can reflect these in their personalised care and support plan.

We design our facilities with this recovery journey in mind. For example, 78 Crawley Rd, our newest complex care recovery service in West Sussex, has two different types of accommodation within the one facility. This means we can provide the right level of care and support as people’s independence increases.

We believe that a focus on outcome-driven recovery is the key to our successful partnerships with commissioners, service users and their families. Here Steve Reader, our director of recovery services, explains why he believes that our support for each individual makes a vital difference to their quality of life.
