Person centred planning

Our approach is based around giving every customer a service which is uniquely tailored to their requirements, lifestyles, goals and aspirations. We call this person centred planning. We work closely with our customers and their families to get to know them, how they like to live and what they hope to get from our support.

This enables us to provide a personalised and responsive service which sets us apart from other providers. We put our customer's wishes first and ensure they are in control of where and how they receive support and who they receive it from. All of our enablers are matched to individual customers, ensuring we provide not just the right support with day to day living, but people who share interests and beliefs.

Activity and independence

Whether providing support to people in their own homes, in a residential service or through supported living, our overriding aim is to help people live as independent and fulfilling a life as possible. Key to achieving this is our belief in the power of activity in improving health, happiness and wellbeing. We take the time to explore each customer's capabilities and identify what daily tasks people can do for themselves so we can use this understanding to help them stay as active and independent as possible.

Our enablers often accompany customers on outings whether they be a simple trip to the local shops, a social visit or a trip to the theatre. Ultimately, this approach is about empowering people to do as much as they can independently so they develop the skills they need to live the life they want, getting support and assistance only when it is required.
