Who we support

Our aim is always the same - to help our customers live more independent and fulfilling lives.

Whether providing support at home or in supported accommodation, our teams can help people with learning disabilities acquire the skills they need to live a more independent and fulfilling life. We have the expertise to provide support for a range of complex conditions which include autism and Asperger syndrome.

We also understand that learning disabilities can sometimes come with behavioural challenges and have the experience and sensitivity to understand and work through difficult behaviour. We work hard to ensure that the services we deliver to our customers focus on their requirements, their aspirations and their goals.

We support people throughout their life - whether they have a need for temporary respite, long term support or access and treatment during periods of crisis.

Our services focus on acquiring valuable life skills and achieving goals which are both realistic and meaningful to the individual involved. Our approach is based on person-centred planning – which simply means we put the customer at the heart of all we do, taking the time to understand their unique needs and aspirations to develop a support plan which will make a difference to their lives.

This support may include anything from basic personal needs – such as washing and personal grooming – to administration of medicines, helping around the house, and accessing the local community.

We also support many of our customers in their efforts to pursue personal interests, take up new hobbies or develop their social networks. We also encourage our clients to pursue appropriate education and work opportunities to help build their confidence and life skills.
