Care and support for older people

For nearly 30 years Care UK has been leading the way in providing care and support for older people.

We provide care and support for more than 5,000 people across the country in nearly a hundred different care homes and day care clubs. Our team are also providing over 120,000 hours of support for people in their homes, while our extra care facilities offer supported accommodation providing a mix between residential care and community living.

We provide care which is person centred. Our teams work with each of our residents to find out what they want and to draw up a care plan which suits their individual requirements, hopes and aspirations. By listening to people we greatly improve their sense of well being and self esteem.

Underpinning our approach across all our services is not only a focus on delivering high quality care and support, but a firm belief in the importance of helping clients be as active and independent as possible. We encourage and support our customers to continue doing daily tasks, to pursue their interests and hobbies, stay active and spend quality time with family and friends. However, we do not force people to take up activities – it’s all about providing choice and giving people the chance to live life in whatever way they want.
