We provide a traditional family GP practice and a walk-in facility to provide fast, convenient care for NHS patients.

St Luke's Health Centre is an NHS clinic run by Care UK. We are open every day from 8am to 8pm and are located behind the Cumberlege Intermediate Care Centre. Our team is professional, friendly and compassionate, ensuring that our patients – both registered and unregistered – are offered the highest standard of care.

Our GP practice offers a range of services including health information, advice and treatment for a variety of minor illnesses and injuries. Registered patients can book appointments with a GP within 48 hours or another healthcare professional within 24 hours. We also offer a range of additional services, such as vaccinations and immunisations, contraception services, cervical screening, diabetes and asthma clinics and stop smoking clinics.

Our walk-in centre is open every day and is designed to help people with busy lifestyles who want access to flexible and convenient health services. We offer healthcare advice and treatment for general problems including minor illnesses, cuts and grazes, minor scalds and burns, strains and sprains, bites, ear and throat infections and other common ailments.

We are unable to treat patients who have more serious conditions, such as heart attack, stroke, a severe head injury or major loss of blood and suggest these patients make their way to a local A&E.

Our telephone number is changing

From 26th January we are introducing a new telephone system, which will ensure you receive the treatment or advice that is right for you. Our new number will be: 0333 321 0918. Calls will be charged at a local rate from landlines and mobiles. Calls will be included in ‘inclusive minutes’ packages in the same way as a local call.
