Company news

The Dell wellbeing centre in Beccles will be opening its doors on 7th August and showcasing its benefits to the local community as a day care centre for older people who have Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. The event will include a talk about services for the blind or partially sighted by voluntary organisation East Suffolk Association for the Blind (ESAB).

From 10.30am there will be a coffee morning, various stalls and a raffle, whilst the team at The Dell wellbeing centre will be on-hand to offer their expertise in dementia care and to answer any queries. Jenny Harmer from ESAB will then give an enlightening talk on the valuable services available for those who are partially sighted or blind, followed by a demonstration on the use of modern assistive equipment available for people in East Suffolk.

Fran McBurnie, manager at The Dell wellbeing centre, said: “We are all very much looking forward to the event as an opportunity to introduce our day care clubs and activities so the local community will recognise and benefit from the services provided”.
