Welcome to Ventress Hall

Ventress Hall is all about enjoying quality care and fulfilling days in a lovely setting. The team provides nursing, residential and dementia care, as well as sensitive end of life care. We also offer short term care.

Every bedroom at Ventress Hall care home is different - some feature high ceilings, while others open directly onto our courtyards. Each room has a 24-hour nurse call system as well as phone and television connections. Most rooms have en-suite facilities and we also have a few shared or double rooms that are ideal for couples.

Throughout the care home there are ample spaces to relax, socialise or to do activities. There are several lounges and dining rooms, a library, hair salon and a warm and sunny conservatory. Outside, our two courtyard gardens are a lovely spot for enjoying a cup of tea in the sun. The home and gardens are fully wheelchair accessible.

We pride ourselves on the transparency of our care quality and fee information - ensuring you can trust us to care from that very first step.

I love seeing the residents happy, and I enjoy seeing the positive impact of the work we do. We often have residents join us for short term respite care as they convalesce after an illness or operation. It’s wonderful to see them recover and return home.

The home is run very efficiently and the level of care from the staff is excellent. My loved one has Parkinson's and she can be very demanding.
