Care for older people
We have more than 100 residential and nursing care homes where more than 6,000 people already live.
We provide more than 150,000 hours of care and support for people in their own homes.
Our carers understand what it’s like to live with dementia because our award winning training puts them in the place of the people they care for, giving them a first-hand experience of what dementia feels like.
Meeting healthcare needs
We assess, diagnose and treat more than one million NHS patients every year, providing services which are free at the point of use
Our treatment centres ranked first in an independent national rating of the best performing hospitals for both knee and hip replacement operations
We have never had a case of hospital acquired MRSA in any of our facilities
Supporting people with mental health needs
We run 18 specialist mental health facilities including independent hospitals, residential facilities which support community living, and specialist facilities for individuals lining with eating disorders or who are prone to self harm.
Working with people with learning and physical disabilities
We provide more than 36,000 hours of specialist support each week for people with learning disabilities
We support individuals living with autistic spectrum disorders, physical disabilities or sensory impairment
