At Buchanan Court, we offer rewarding, fulfilling careers that are full of opportunity. We support all our team members with innovative training and clear career paths, and you can enjoy working in a friendly, supportive environment where our residents' wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
You’re a nurse with a passion for caring for older people. You want to spend more time doing what you do best – nursing, providing care and helping vulnerable people lead happier, healthier lives. When you join Care UK, we’ll give you the support and training you need to develop both your clinical and management skills. This is turn will help you progress more quickly in your career – with excellent opportunities to take on senior roles such as clinical lead, home manager or senior trainer.
We run over 120 homes and day clubs across the UK. We provide residential, nursing, dementia and end-of-life care for older people. As one of the UK’s leading care home providers, our goal is to help every employee fulfil his or her potential – with first-class training and support.
Care UK is one of the highest rated and fastest growing healthcare providers in the country: delivering the highest quality of care and fulfilling lives is at the heart of what we do! Due to the success of our new build projects, we have successfully built and opened 31 new build homes over the past five years, and will be continuing that growth for years to come.
You’re a caring, can-do person with experience working in building maintenance. Ideally, some of that has been gained in a care home setting. You’ve got a good basic education with GCSEs (or the equivalent) including English and Maths. As well as being very practical, you like dealing with people. You’re happy building good relationships with residents, colleagues and contractors. You’re a multi-tasker who can work well under pressure and use your initiative to solve problems. Above all, you’re a team player who takes pride in your work and is committed to maintaining a safe, comfortable environment for our residents.
