At Cairdean House our caring and passionate teams find practical ways to ensure residents’ lives remains as normal and busy as possible.
Our dedicated activities co-ordinator makes a weekly plan of activities for residents to get involved in, so that they can continue enjoying lifelong hobbies and interests, and even try something new.
Having fun and maintaining independence
Whether it’s baking, doing jigsaws, gardening or getting competitive in quizzes, there’s something to appeal to everyone at Cairdean House. The members of our team are truly multi-talented: some have trained in music, others in reiki and aromatherapy. We hold a monthly Tai Chi class, which is very popular.
At the heart of the community
We’re always open to new ideas from residents, their families and local groups about how we can work together. In fact, we’ve set up committees for residents and families to enable them to get more involved in the running of the home.
At Cairdean House we understand the importance of family connections and monitor government guidance on garden visits on a daily basis.
