Trusted to care in Colinton - Edinburgh, Scotland
Cairdean House in Colinton - Edinburgh, Scotland, provides excellent care for older people in stunning surroundings.
Our skilled and compassionate team provides nursing and residential care for up to 90 older people, including those living with dementia. We also deliver short-term respite care, and sympathetic, discreet end of life care.
Cairdean House has its own coffee shop, hair salon and cinema, and we’re always exploring new ways to make the home more luxurious for residents. We recently refreshed the outdoor terraces and the décor in the coffee shop, and created a more homely atmosphere in our reception area, with comfortable seating, a television and a fireplace.
We believe that moving into a care home is just another part of life, and your loved one should be free to continue enjoying lifelong hobbies and enjoyable outings, and even to try out new interests and experiences. We get out and about around Edinburgh, and we love welcoming friends into our home – whether they’re youngsters from the local nursery, exotic animals or Rabbie Burns himself.
At Cairdean House we offer a range of care services. We always undertake a full needs assessment of every prospective resident before they join us, so you’ll never need to make decisions about your loved one’s care alone.Read more
