Keeping active and feeling valued are vital in later life. Our activity programme will have something to appeal to everyone.
The dedicated lifestyle team at our Chichester Grange care home will organise an array of activities in small groups, as well as important one-to-one time, with activities tailored to your loved one’s interests. If your loved one has a hobby, we’ll help them to continue it. If they fancy trying something new, we’ll support them too.
Gardening, pub lunches, live entertainment, exercise, music and art sessions are just some of the activities we’ll be organising. And if your loved one likes the sense of independence that comes from doing routine tasks, they’re welcome to help out around the home, whether that’s watering plants, helping our maintenance team with some DIY, or folding laundry.
Exploring Chichester and beyond
Our care home on Grosvenor Road in Stockbridge is taking shape on a quiet, residential road just a minute’s drive from the A27, and close to the A3. We’ll therefore be easily accessible for friends and family visiting from all over the south and south east of England. You are welcome to visit our Chichester Grange care home at any time when we open, or check back to see when our marketing suite is available to be one of the first to see our new luxury development take shape.
Everyone enjoys a change of scene, and we’re looking forward to exploring Chichester and the surrounding area. In fact, there’s so much to discover – from the city’s cathedral, cafés and shops, to the seaside towns and historic places of Sussex and Hampshire – the challenge will be deciding what to do first!
You may be surprised to find out about the stunning facilities that all residents (and their visitors), will be able to enjoy, such as our café, cinema, hair and beauty salon, and beautiful gardens. We’ll also be focusing on bringing the local community to us by forging strong ties with local churches and charities, community groups, nurseries and schools.
Enjoying nutritious and delicious food
Mealtimes will be when everyone gets together to talk through the day’s activities and enjoy the tasty and nutritious dishes served up by the chef-led team in the home. Menus will use the freshest ingredients and be designed around residents’ tastes and dietary needs. Food will also feature in daily activities too, with baking, tastings, and wine and cheese afternoons all featuring on our activities planner.
