Our Davers day club is currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic and we will be reviewing the reopening date of the club in spring 2021.
Currently the day club is helping to support relatives visiting loved ones in our residential care homes.
The Davers Club in Bury St Edmunds offers flexible day care for older people living in the community who would like a change of scene.
Our Care UK day club on Shakers Lane is a welcoming, well-run setting that’s specifically designed for older people who are living independently in the local area. We provide tailored care, a variety of activities and a flexible approach to suit you and your loved one.
Whether your loved one would like to meet more people and enjoy a change of scene, rediscover a hobby, or try something new, we’re here to help. Our experienced and friendly team support people who are living with dementia or are physically frail, or may need a little help with everyday tasks.
A tailored approach to daytime care
We get to know your loved one well, so that we can tailor activities and care to their needs and interests. They can join us whenever they wish and stay for a half-session or full session.
While your loved one is with us, we can help them with personal care, support them to make themselves a snack (although meals are provided). They can even use the superb facilities at Care UK’s Davers Court care home, next door, for no extra charge – including a cinema, hair salon and coffee shop.
If you like the sound of our Bury St Edmunds day club, do call us on 0333 321 1982 to arrange a free taster day session.
