Our passionate team enjoys supporting residents to make the most of each day with meaningful and fun activities, outings and events.
Every day is different at Hadrian Park. Barbecues, lunches out, bowling, cinema trips, pet visits and exercise sessions are just some of the ways we fill our days in our Billingham care home.
The ladies love our regular hair and beauty pamper sessions, while the gentlemen enjoy the visits from a dementia-friendly barber, who provides haircuts and wet shaves while the gents listen to Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin on the stereo.
A care home team that’s more like family
Our colleagues and residents are like family, and many of our colleagues have been part of our team for a long time. We know what makes each other 'tick' and what will bring a smile to residents’ faces, from takeaway fish and chips, a singalong or a competitive quiz or card game!
Nothing beats a little bit of animal magic. Residents love a cuddle with our guinea pigs, Pinky and Perky, and in the spring time we get a huge buzz from raising chickens from eggs in an incubator. Seeing the chicks hatch is an unforgettable experience.
We go above and beyond to give residents the best
We're always thinking of new ways to enhance the home and everyday life for residents. We raise money in conventional and unconventional ways – from cake sales to swimming with sharks! We’ll do whatever it takes if it means residents can have their own in-home shop or special outing.
We’re part of a strong and supportive community and we love the relationships we’ve developed with local schools and nurseries, shops, businesses, charities and churches. We show our own support for our friends in the local area by offering support and guidance to local family carers and older people through coffee mornings, and information or training sessions on care-related topics.
