At Laurel Dene, we offer rewarding, fulfilling careers that are full of opportunity. We support all our team members with innovative training and clear career paths, and you can enjoy working in a friendly, supportive environment where our residents' wellbeing is at the heart of everything we do.
Are you experienced in supporting older people with complex care needs? Are you an organised, methodical Nurse who is passionate about delivering positive change? Then you can build a fast-moving nursing career with Care UK and help our residents get more out of life every day.
If you have experience in a similar role organising a varied programme of activities and you’re looking for a rewarding role that offers great training and opportunities to develop, join Care UK as a Lifestyle Lead and make a real difference.
You’re a caring person with a can-do attitude. You already have experience supporting older people, ideally including those with dementia. You’ve got the confidence to lead a care team and act as champion for the safety and dignity of residents. You have a good understanding of care planning with a Level 3 vocational qualification in Health and Social Care (either a diploma or NVQ). To you, caring is more than just a job. It’s a chance to use your compassion and skills – to make a real difference. To help you succeed, we’ll give you excellent support, quality training and fast-track career opportunities.
Care Assistants at Care UK come from all walks of life. Some have worked in factories, supermarkets or schools. Some are returning to work after a break. Many have no, or minimal, experience, but are keen to explore a career in care, while many already have invaluable experience. What they all have in common is the right values. They’re adaptable, friendly, polite and caring. They enjoy working as a team with people from different cultures and backgrounds. And, they consider it a privilege to be trusted to look after others. Do you share their values? Then we could have just the role for you.
