At Lennox House, activities are tailored to residents’ individual hobbies and interests.
At Lennox House we believe in supporting residents to enjoy a meaningful lifestyle, with experiences and activities that are tailored to their interests and preferences.
Enjoy different activities
Our lifestyle coordinators plan daily activities around the interests and abilities of residents, and we offer a unique mix of options. This includes anything from quizzes and exercise classes, to gardening, baking, sing-alongs, virtual entertainers and arts and crafts. Of course, with COVID, some of the activities may look a little different and all are socially distanced, but we’ve been able to work to run favourite things to do, and even think up some new ones.
Making meal times special
Mealtimes at Lennox House are fun and sociable – there’s something to suit everyone from West Indian and Greek, to African and Halal dishes. We also like to get together for socially distanced monthly coffee mornings, and residents help us to prepare home-made cakes for our daily afternoon tea in our tea room.
At Christmas, residents are treated to Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, and pre-COVID children from nearby schools would come to the home to sing carols and perform pantomimes. On residents’ birthdays, we make a special cake and throw them an in-house party.
