Our team

Joe Nichols - Home Manager - Care UK

Joe Nichols

Home Manager

I have previous experience as a Home Manager so I joined Care UK in 2020 to take on a new challenge. To work as a Home Manager you need the ability to understand one’s limitations and allow others to help you. Being a registered nurse and receiving my MSc in Counselling Psychology and Human Resource Management really helps me perform in my role.

Each day I look forward to working hard so Lennox House can be its very best.

When I am home I love supporting West Ham United and riding my motorcycle.

Dionysios Giotas - Deputy Manager - Care UK

Dionysios Giotas

Deputy Manager

I am an experienced nurse and have achieved multiple nursing qualifications in Greece and the UK where I researched and studied nursing for two years at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. In 2020 I joined Care UK because of the opportunities to develop and grow within a role as well as the amazing support from the team and my line manager.

Being a Deputy Manager at Lennox House requires a lot of qualities like kindness to colleagues and residents, being a good listener, and being open and honest while remaining friendly and professional. I love our ‘ten at ten’ (ten minutes together at 10am)  meetings with the team where we get together for updates and set goals for the day. I enjoy setting the quality and performance bars high and setting clear expectations.

Mark Daniel - Reception/Admin - Care UK

Mark Daniel

Reception/Admin

Patience, attention to detail, the ability to work to deadlines and a sense of humour are crucial to my job role. My favourite part of each day is meeting and getting to know new people, the satisfaction of helping others and completing daily tasks.

My passion for caring for the elderly and people in general is why working at Lennox House is so fulfilling.

Outside work I enjoy spending time with my wife and family. I enjoying playing video games or watching a good movie. However the best way for me to relax at the end of a long day is a glass of wine and Netflix.

Ria Walker

Head Housekeeper and Infection Prevention and Control Champion

The Infection Prevention & Control (IPC) Champion’s role is to establish and maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness so that residents and colleagues in the home are kept safe. They ensure that all colleagues are well trained in infection control and are on hand to ensure the team are working to the highest standards.
