Martlet Manor - care-types

Care types

Here at Martlet Manor, our aim when we open this autumn is to support your loved one, allowing them to lead an independent and fulfilling life.

As part of Care UK, one of the country’s biggest residential care providers, we will offer experienced, individually tailored care in stunning surroundings. By listening to your loved one and the wishes of your family, a care package is created, allowing both you and your relative to enjoy peace of mind.

We know that choosing the perfect home for your loved one can appear daunting, so we’ve prepared the following guide to the types of care we will offer.

Dementia care

Providing for your loved one’s physical and emotional wellbeing, our team will specialise in encouraging residents to enjoy a high level of independence and individuality. Our luxurious care home is designed to support those living with dementia. Lighting, floor coverings, colour schemes and signage enable residents to move around the home easily, and smaller suites help to foster a sense of community and togetherness.

Nursing dementia care

Living with dementia presents challenges that are unique to each person and can change over time. Every resident receives a tailored care plan, that, through consultation with medical specialists, themselves and their family, is regularly updated. Any additional medical conditions, including multiple sclerosis, brain injury or stroke, are expertly provided for. Your loved one has full access to clinically-trained colleagues around the clock.
