Our purpose-built care home in Haywards Heath, West Sussex, provides quality care for older people in luxurious surroundings. The dedicated team offer residential care and specialist dementia care. We also deliver around the clock dementia care, short term respite care and sensitive end of life care.

Martlet Manor has its own café, hair and beauty salon, cinema and lovely gardens. Every aspect of your loved one’s care and lifestyle is tailored to their precise needs, wishes and preferences. Our passionate team will get to know your loved one well, and will work together to ensure that your loved one is always happy, safe and cared for.

We are working very hard to ensure that the service we provide is of the highest quality. We are aware that CQC have highlighted we need to make improvements to our service, we have a comprehensive service improvement plan in place to ensure we are acting to make changes that will be sustained and embedded. Please ask the manager if you wish to discuss the contents of our service improvement plan.

The staff are always very approachable if the residents or families have any concerns. They welcome our thoughts and views on things and have a willingness to engage. We are always made to feel very welcome whenever we visit, everyone knows who we are and who we are there to see, and they call us from time to time to make sure we are happy with everything.

The staff are extremely friendly and always on hand to help and cheer people up if they're having a bad day. My loved one gets upset when we leave and the staff distract her and get her laughing, they genuinely want to make her happy. She always has something to do, plenty of things going on in the home, they bring in entertainers and the staff provide all kinds of activities... my loved one gets involved with the gardening club, which she loves.

The home is very well run! It's a new home in excellent condition and has good facilities, a nice cafe and bar area for residents and relatives to use. The standard of care is top notch, everyone is friendly and they act in the best interests of the residents, often going above and beyond what you might expect. The food is excellent, my loved one was underweight when she moved into the home and has gained now. The staff do regular checks and provide good support when needed, including with personal hygiene. I have every confidence in the care that is provided, I'm kept well informed and they have been nothing but responsive to my loved one's individual needs.

The staff are phenomenal - so caring, personable and treat my parents with such dignity. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the actual home is superb. It is a beautiful place.
