Cedrus House opened its doors to the local community for a ‘cracking’ day of Easter celebrations at its Easter fête.
The team at Cedrus House hosted a day of fun, family-friendly activities including, face painting and Easter arts and crafts. There was also the opportunity for visitors to try their luck on the raffle and tombola.
Residents and visitors were also joined by members of the Stowmarket Fire Service, and there was an extra special visit from the Easter Bunny himself.
Home manager, Michelle Webster, said: “Easter is an important time of year here at Cedrus House, and many of our residents have lovely memories of celebrating the occasion with their families. So as well as being great fun, our fête was also a valuable reminiscence activity for those living with dementia.
“We had a brilliant day welcoming family, friends and the people of Stowmarket to the home for what really was an ‘egg-cellent’ day. We’d like to give special thanks to the Stowmarket Fire Service and of course, the Easter Bunny, for making the day egg-stra exciting!”
