Davers Court celebrated Easter with a ‘cracking’ day of celebrations when it held its Easter fete.
The team invited friends and family for a day offun, Easter-themed activities including, an Easter egg hunt, arts and crafts and fun themed games such as, ‘pin the tail on the bunny’.
Residents also enjoyed a special service in the coffee shop on Easter Sunday, where they sang hymns to mark the occasion. In the afternoon, residents made and decorated their own Easter eggs and enjoyed a special tea of hot cross buns.
Home manager, Wendy Harvey, said: “Easter is an important time of year here at Davers Court and many of our residents have lovely memories of celebrating Easter with their families. So as well as being great fun, our Easter fete was also a valuable reminiscence activity, especially for those living with dementia.
“We had a brilliant day welcoming family and friends to the home for what really was an ‘egg-cellent’ day.”
