Buchanan Court welcomed local people to celebrate the festive season in style at its Christmas party.
The team at Buchanan Court welcomed the local community into the home when they hosted a special Christmas lunch and festive sing-along.
A selection of tasty treats were on offer, and to help spread Christmas cheer, residents and guests were joined by pupils from St Georges School who performed a number of classic carols. Guests were also able to take a tour of the brand new care home, and the Care UK team were on hand to offer support and guidance to those who will be caring for loved ones this Christmas.
Angela Kamara, home manager at Buchanan Court, said: “We’re all looking forward to celebrating the first Christmas here at the Buchanan Court. As well as taking part in a number of traditional festivities such as carol singing and decorating the tree, the residents were excited to share presents with one another.
“Since the building began to take shape, we have been keen to forge relationships with the local community, and inviting them to join our Christmas lunch was a great way to spread the festive feeling. The residents had a wonderful time chatting with our new neighbours, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for our Grand Launch early next year.”
