It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas at Cedrus House, as the local community is invited to celebrate the festive season at its annual Christmas fair.
On Saturday 8th December, from 12 noon - 4pm, the team will open the doors to day centre at the home and bring festive cheer to the town.
Visitors and residents will be able to start their Christmas shopping at a number of stalls, and enjoy festive treats including mince pies, mulled wine, and seasonal entertainment from local performer, Diane Thompson.
Guests will also have the opportunity to get involved in some festive arts and crafts and meet Father Christmas himself.
Michelle Webster, home manager at Cedrus House, said: “Christmas has officially arrived here at Cedrus House and we’re thrilled to be able to bring everyone together for an afternoon of festive fun!
“The local community is a huge part of life at Cedrus House and the relationships we have are extremely important to us, so the invitation to share our Christmas fair is a great way to say thank you for their support over the last year and spread some festive cheer.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming lots of people to the home for what promises to be an exciting afternoon of festive celebrations.”
