The Christmas season got underway at Mills Meadow when the home was joined by a group of young singers, who came in to entertain with Christmas Carols and songs.
The home was decked out in its Christmas finery, as residents were joined by children from Sir Robert Hitcham’s Primary School, in Framlingham, who sang beautifully and then stayed for a chat.
In all, 39 children from the school visited, and residents were all delighted that our day visitors could enjoy the experience too.
The children stayed for some refreshments and they talked to the residents about how they planned to celebrate Christmas, whilst listening as residents told them all about their own childhood Christmases in Suffolk.
It was nice to see that they enjoyed their visit – we certainly enjoyed hearing their singing and plans.
