Field Lodge is inviting the local community to join them on Saturday 26th August for an afternoon of fun at its summer fete.
From 1pm-4pm, local people are invited to drop into Field Lodge care home to join in the fun, games and summer celebrations at this year’s event.
Residents and guests will be treated to a delicious barbecue, as well as a visit from the ice cream van. There will be fun for all the family with a bouncy castle, tombola and entertainment from Sean Moyses, otherwise known as the “The Banjo Man”, who will entertain guests with an upbeat and lively repertoire.
Guests will also have the opportunity to meet the team and find out what life is like at Field Lodge.
Katie Wilkinson, home manager at Field Lodge, commented: “Hosting a summer fete provides us with a great opportunity to invite the local community to join us for a day of family-friendly fun. There is a real buzz around the care home already, with preparations now well underway.
“Here at Field Lodge, it is important for us to build strong relationships with the people of St Ives, and we look forward to welcoming those in the local area to join us for what promises to be a fantastic day of fun and games.”
