Down on the farm

March 22nd 2012
Here are some of the photographs from our latest monthly trip to Butterfly Lodge Farm in Abberton and, as you can see, everyone had lots of fun with our feathered and furry friends.

The farm has many animals including pigs, goats, chickens and cats which are all very welcoming to their visitors.

Activities Coordinator Katie Finneran said: “The trips are very popular. Many of the residents love animals. Some grew up or worked on farms and the visits bring back some very happy memories.

“As well as animals being fun and tactile, they also bring back memories for people and spark lots of conversations about old pets or times spent on farms. That helps us to get to know more about our residents, their pasts and their interests.”
