Claire Ellam, development project manager at Care UK, said: “As the latest additions to a growing portfolio of care homes, Oakfield Croft and Deewater Grange represent a major investment for Care UK. When complete, the purpose-built care homes will boost the provision of quality residential and nursing homes as well as creating jobs for the local community.”

Both homes are due to open later this year and their designs will enable residents to live active and fulfilled lives while also promoting independence. The homes will incorporate space for hobby and leisure activities and each will include cinema, gardens, hairdressing salon and coffee shop.

Deewater Grange and Oakfield Croft will deliver a full range of residential and nursing care for older people, including short-term respite care and specialist care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
