The Thorrington community is invited to join in the festive fun when a local care home hosts a calendar of Christmas events this December, starting with its annual Christmas Bazaar.
From 2pm – 5pm on Saturday 10th December, the Care UK team at Silversprings care home will be opening the doors to family and visitors, for a day of Christmas celebrations.
Visitors to the care home can try their luck on the tombola and raffle. There will be party food and a variety of seasonal stalls selling toys and Christmas gifts.
Residents and their families will also be enjoying a series of festive events at the home including, a visit from Alresford Church for a Christmas sing-along, a carol concert on Christmas Eve with mulled wine and mince pies, and an end of year party with residents’ favourite musical group, Tanglewood.
Susan Oates, home manager at Silversprings, said: “It’s the most wonderful time of the year, so we’re getting the festivities underway by welcoming the local community to celebrate our favourite season.
“We hope that everyone will get into the festive spirit and join us for the celebrations. Our Christmas Bazaar is set to be a great family fun day and the perfect start to Christmas 2016!”
